A very enjoyable and completely unexpected weds pm 2 hour session, very well powered by the 6.6 for most of it. Not particularly exciting but just great to be out there, especially with the sun shining and the tide just right for easy launching/sailing. Since I was so well powered on the 6.6 I did try changing down to the 5.8 at the end, and had a couple of decently powered runs, but then the wind started to die and the Hove downwind conveyor belt was cranking up to full speed so I decided to call it quits around 5.30pm. The fact I got out today will hopefully make it slightly less painful being at work whilst the forecasted wind blows its nuts off tomorrow and friday... :(
